I did something for the history books of Power Metal. I reunited the classic line-up of Power Quest for one show in my hometown. Get to my festival Warriors of Steel Festival 2026 next year in Ålesund, Norway! The line-up for the night is awesome! ;D

The recording room is up and running. On wednesday we had our first rehearsal with Legend of Valley Doom in there as well. Soon I’ll be ready for full band productions from my own house! Tomorrow I will try to finish the control room. Will post a picture when I’m done!

Shure’s bass drum mics sounds fantastic on toms. I am also experimenting with triggers on the bass drum with some great results :) and trying different mics on the snare, but it is hard to beat the sound of an SM57. Still waiting for the acoustic treatment plates which are delayed. Hopefully I will have them in the middle of September so we can do some proper recordings in my newly built studio!
