Passepartout Duo, som for tida er gjestekunstnarar på Leveld Kunstnartun AiR heldt ein intim, elektronisk konsert på Kulturhuset denne veka. Takk til Fryd Scene , Ål kulturhus, Ål Kulturskule og publikum!

På tunet i mai: Nicoletta Favari & Christopher Salvito (Italia/USA) er musikarar/komponistar. Dei spelar på handlaga instrument og arbeidet deira undersøkjer måten vi lyttar til og knyter oss til lyd på. Saman utgjer dei Passepartout Duo.

Leveld Kunstnartun is now accepting applications for its Artist-in-Residence programme for 2027.

The residency is open to professional artists (not students) across all disciplines. Applicants may apply for residencies of 1, 2, or 3 months. We particularly encourage applications for 2- or 3-month stays.

Selection is based on the quality of artistic practice and is carried out by an appointed jury of peers. The administration of the LK AiR programme acts solely as secretaries in the process and does not take part in selecting residents.
There are three juries—visual arts, composers, and writers—appointed by the relevant national organizations. Applicants must choose which jury will assess their application.

The residency is open to a wide range of artistic fields, including visual arts, writing, curating, crafts, film, dance, choreography, stage and performance art, music, composition, and audio/new media practices.
For sound and video works, please include up to three accessible links (no password required) in your PDF portfolio.

Leveld Kunstnartun is located in Leveld, in Ål municipality in Hallingdal, approximately halfway between Oslo and Bergen. The programme is supported by the Norwegian Ministry of Culture, Buskerud County Municipality, and Ål Municipality.

Residents are provided with free accommodation and studio space. However, participants must cover their own living and material expenses. A working stipend of NOK 6,000 per month and a travel stipend of NOK 4,000 are provided.

På tunet i april og mai: Karl Ingar Røys (NO) eir en visuell kunstnar og filmskapar. Karl Ingar sin praksis består i å lage ulike plattformar for spekulasjon, kunnskapsbygging og utveksling.

Erlend Apneseth (35) er tilsett som ny dagleg leiar for Leveld Kunstnartun! Apneseth har ein solid kunstfagleg bakgrunn, og er etablert som ein internasjonalt anerkjend musikar og komponist. Han har også verka som arrangør med ei sterk interesse for tverrfaglege uttrykk, noko som resonnerer svært godt med Kunstnartunet sin profil. Apneseth, som er busett her i Ål, tiltrådte 1.april i 50 % stilling. Han ser fram til å utvikle tunet vidare i samarbeid med styret, samt lokale, regionale og nasjonale aktørar.
