As our project is just around the corner, we paid a visit to Theater De Spiegel to discuss the last matters and to admire their beautiful hall! 🤩

From upcoming Monday through Thursday we will work hard to deliver a concert registration. Watch it online next Saturday evening 20:00!!

UPDATE 🤩

We now have a beautiful poster, which will be shared on the website of De Spiegel and in school!

Good news: not only will Joost Smeets conduct us but members of Phion will coach our section rehearsals!

Also, more information is sent to our members about time tables and the corona protocol, as we're only 2 weeks away now... 😲

The additional pieces we will perform are from the beautiful L'Arlésienne Suites by Georges Bizet! See our repertoire list below:

Additionally, the registration of our concert will be released on the Saturday evening of the 8th of May!

Today the seatings of the string section are revealed 🪑and the parts are sent 🎼 so they can already start studying! 🎻 The project is coming closer and closer, the may vacation is now only one month away... 😱

Good evening! We are busy with the rest of the program. So everything we want to play beside the beautiful 6th of Beethoven.

Our main goal with this extra repertoire is to also give non-orchestral musicians a role. Because musical Zwolle has more to offer than an orchestra!

Hello! Welcome to the page of the Dutch Festival Orchestra, an initiative of students from the ArtEZ Conservatoire Zwolle. Our aim is to show what musically talented students Zwolle has and to learn from playing together in a large group.

Our first project will focus on the 6th Symphony by Beethoven, but to showcase non-orchestral musicians there will likely be more pieces!
