A major milestone achieved at East Anglia THREE.

Seaway7 has successfully completed the final foundation installation at ScottishPower Renewables' East Anglia THREE offshore wind farm, marking a major milestone for the project.

All 95 monopiles and transition pieces have been installed by Seaway Ventus, including some of the largest monopiles installed from a jack-up vessel in European offshore wind.

This achievement is a testament to the dedication, expertise and collaboration demonstrated by teams onshore and offshore throughout the campaign. We extend our sincere thanks to our client and project partners for their continued trust, and to every member of the project team whose efforts made this milestone possible.

Together, we are helping deliver the renewable energy infrastructure needed for the future.

While we take a moment to celebrate this achievement, our focus remains firmly on the next phase of our delivery, with cable installation activities continuing offshore.

All Inch Cape transition pieces installed

Seaway7 has successfully installed all 54 transition pieces at the Inch Cape Offshore Wind Farm off the coast of Angus, Scotland.

This is an important step forward for the 1.1 GW project, which will generate enough clean electricity to power the equivalent of over half of Scotland’s homes once operational.

Congratulations to everyone involved in delivering this key phase safely and successfully. Our team now progresses to the next phase of offshore installation, beginning with pin pile installation, followed by the installation of 18 jacket foundations.

Seaway7 has completed the transportation of jacket foundations for the Dieppe Le Tréport offshore wind farm, with Seaway Albatross arriving in Cherbourg in June 2026 to complete the 13th and final delivery.

Delivered as a subcontract to DEME, the transportation played a key role in the development of the offshore wind farm located 15km off the coast of Normandy.

Across the campaign, 62 four-legged jacket foundations were transported from Fene, Spain to Cherbourg, France - each measuring approximately 50 metres in height and weighing around 1,150 tonnes. From mobilisation in Bilbao to the final voyage, the campaign combined detailed engineering, careful planning and consistent offshore ex*****on - ensuring safe and efficient operations throughout all 13 transport cycles.

A strong team effort and a significant milestone in supporting offshore wind development in France.

Life at sea isn’t easy. It asks a lot - long rotations, time away from home, and the ability to adapt to whatever conditions come your way. It also takes real teamwork, trust and professionalism to deliver what we do safely offshore.

Across Seaway7, our seafarers are at the heart of our operations, supporting offshore wind projects around the world and creating a future we can all be proud of.

On Global Wind Day, we are proud to recognise the role offshore wind continues to play in the energy transition.

Across the world, progress is being delivered at scale. At Seaway7, we are contributing to that momentum with 62 offshore wind projects completed, 16 in progress, and 20 GW of installed capacity.

From installation to connection, our teams offshore and onshore are helping enable clean energy for millions of homes, while supporting lower emissions and stronger, more secure energy systems.
