Dubbele Solo Tentoonstelling Donna Corbani

In de maand augustus zijn er twee solo-tentoonstellingen te zien van Zandvoortse kunstenares Donna Corbani.
"Spirit of Racing" in het Palace Hotel, Burg. van Fenemaplein 2 in Zandvoort is onderdeel van het Zandvoort Racefestival, officieel side event van de Formula 1 Heineken Dutch Grand Prix.
"De snelheid en het geluid van de autos, de spanning en sensatie van het event, en het enthousiasme van alle fans heeft mij veel inspiratie gegeven," zegt Corbani. In alle kunstwerken in de Palace lobby, en vooral in haar nieuwste schilderij, is de geest van het race duidelijk te zien.

In Amsterdam is Donna's solo-tentoonstelling "Tulip Fever." In de Street Art Gallery, Nicholas Groente en Fruit, Sint Nicolaasstraat 19. Vlakbij de Dam. Hier exposeert zij een collectie olieverfschilderijen en fleurige wandobjecten met het thema tulpenkoorts.
Donna Corbani heeft een paar jaar geleden meegewerkt aan een grootschalig Street Art project in The Secret Garden van dezelfde galerie. Samen met veel bekende namen vanuit het Street Art en graffiti circuit. Zoals Shepard Fairey, The London Police, Pipsqueak was here, Chinny Bond, Ard Doko, en Laser 3.14.

Beide exposities zijn tot begin september te bewonderen.

Such a fun opening of my solo exhibition “Tulip Fever” yesterday! 💓 Big thanks to owner Brian, all the visitors, buyers, friends and family. Madam Bruno filled the street with music and locals helped me create a pathway of chalk artworks leading to Nicholas Groente & Fruit.
