It’s time to add another name to the lineup: Shinigami.

Shinigami is a band formed by members of several established metal acts. Musicians with backgrounds in bands such as Pestilence, Mayan, Orphanage and Ancient Rites joined forces to create this project.

With this addition, the lineup for the main hall is now complete — with more announcements still to come.

Shinigami joins RebellionFest III, taking place on 26 September 2026 at De Groote Weiver in Wormerveer.

The lineup for RebellionFest III continues to take shape,
so here’s the next name for RFIII: Sad Iron!

Sad Iron is a Dutch heavy metal band originally formed in the early 1980s, during the first wave of heavy metal in the Netherlands. As one of the earlier bands in the scene, they helped shape the foundation of what would later become known as the New Wave of Dutch Heavy Metal, with a sound rooted in classic metal traditions.

They will be joining us on 26 September 2026 for the third chapter of RebellionFest.

It’s time to welcome another band to RebellionFest III: Aum Zorion!

Aum Zorion is an instrumental post-metal band from Amsterdam, The Netherlands. The project started in 2023 and moves within the heavier and more atmospheric side of metal.

They will be part of the lineup on 26 September 2026 at De Groote Weiver.

Another name joins the lineup for RebellionFest III: Hallowed Fire.

Hallowed Fire is a Heavy–Thrash Metal band formed in late 2016. They draw influence from fast, old-school thrash and speed metal and they combine it with groovy heavy breakdowns. A clear fit for the next chapter.

Hallowed Fire will be part of RebellionFest III.

We’re adding another band to the lineup for RebellionFest III!

Anchillys is a Dutch brutal death metal band with a strong focus on heaviness, structure and musicality. Their material is dense and technical without losing coherence, staying close to the core of the genre while maintaining a clear musical direction throughout their work.

Anchillys will be part of RebellionFest III on 26 September 2026 at De Groote Weiver.

The Early Bird tickets have just ended.

Arising Rebellion was already confirmed as one of the first bands for RebellionFest III, alongside Disquiet, when the date and early bird tickets for 26 September 2026 were revealed. With that announced, this post focuses on the band itself.

Arising Rebellion is a modern groove metal band blending multiple metal styles into a heavy, hard-grooving sound. The band doesn’t follow trends or scenes, but builds its music around groove, weight and a serious live approach. On stage, Arising Rebellion delivers a raw and focused performance, driven by movement and intensity rather than excess. Their sound is rooted in groove metal, shaped by influences from across the heavier end of the metal spectrum, and made to hit live.

In addition to performing, Arising Rebellion is also involved in the organisation of RebellionFest together with De Groote Weiver.

RebellionFest III: The Third Chapter takes place on Saturday 26 September 2026 at De Groote Weiver.
Doors open at 15:00, with the first band starting at 16:00.

Early Bird tickets are available for €10 until 31 December and are limited.
From 1 January, pre-sale tickets will be €15, with €17.50 at the door.
