Working with papier-mâché keeps reminding me that things don’t always turn out the way I originally imagined.Sometimes new ideas appear right in the middle of the process, and sometimes the final result becomes a complete surprise even to me.

This decorative papier-mâché vase turned into one of those surprises — and, as always, in a nature-inspired style.To me, it looks like an ancient stone shaped by time and water, even though its form is soft and flowing.

I truly love these unexpected transformations, when simple materials become something with its own mood and story.What does this vase remind you of?

Paper Coral

I made a new vase inspired by coral textures — created entirely from paper and handmade layers.
I wanted it to feel like something shaped by the sea and left on the shore.

Papier-mâché has become something much bigger for me than just creativity. It’s almost like an addiction — in the best possible way. I begin with one shape, sculpt it, create the mixture, work on the details… but while one piece is drying, my mind is already full of ideas for the next one. And this process truly never seems to end.Because when we create something beautiful with our own hands, we make the world more beautiful. Through creativity, love, and positive energy, we really can change the space around us for the better.

Floor vase made from… yogurt containers ♻️✨

I built the base from recycled plastic containers and covered everything with papier-mâché.
Turns out, plastic works surprisingly well as a lightweight structure:
— easy to shape,
— durable,
— moisture-resistant while working,
— and most importantly — it gives waste a second life 🌿

Of course, there were challenges too. Plastic is smooth, so getting all the layers to bond properly takes patience. But that’s exactly what makes the process magical — transforming everyday trash into home decor 🤍
