ABOUT THE WORK:
“In Aethere Purpurae | In the Ether of the Purple” exists on the threshold between art and science — a place where both disciplines meet in wonder. The work does not explore the tangible, but rather the transitional ﬁeld between matter and vibration, between light and meaning. Purple, born of the merging of red (energy, life, body) and blue (thought, sky, spirit), becomes a visual metaphor for transformation. Just as science reveals the unseen — through spectra, wavelengths, or ethereal ﬁelds — this work renders the inner visible through light, color, and symbol. The cross hovers not as dogma, but as a formula of balance: an intersection of heaven and earth, of time and space. Within that intersection opens a space of possibility — an in-between where perception, resonance, and meaning converge.

“In Aethere Purpurae” thus becomes a poetic experiment: an inquiry into the subtle, the immeasurable, the vibrating ﬁeld where both art and science are born. It invites contemplation of what happens when matter dissolves into light — when knowledge transforms into feeling, and observation into awe.

This summer is once again bursting with creativity! From July 30 to August 23, 2025, this beautiful, historic building is transformed into a vibrant cultural platform. Visual , and art will converge under one powerful theme: ART IN FREEDOM.

More than 30 artists from the Platform Beroepskunstenaars will showcase their work. Every Wednesday and Saturday—during the lively market days in the heart of Wageningen—you are warmly welcome between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM to be touched, amazed, and inspired. Each week a different group of ! The first group has already enthusiastic taken the lead and the second one will take over this Wednesday August 6 & 9!

🎤 Daily at 2 PM, live performances by poets, musicians, and performers will bring art to life. From rhythmic djembe to evocative poetry, from expressive painting to musical improvisations—this is art you can feel!

🤩💥Looking back on a great 25th edition of It ended with a closing event where Park Hartenstein in Oosterbeek was transformed into a vibrant festival site full of music, theater, art and wonder with splendid weather. ☀️💃🕺🍹🥳 🎤🎪 There was a special presentation of 18 visual poems to 18 of the 80 participating artists, organized by The poems were created by visitors of the , inspired by the artworks of selected artists. was also selected to receive a visual poem inspired by one of her works. Thanks to Hans van der Wiel who made this powerful poem, a Japanese Haiku. 👏👏

🔊‼️25th edition KUNSTROUTE RENKUM: Etalages - Te Kijk ‼️👀

👉 In collaboration with the business associations of all 6 villages, the artists of will be exhibiting in the windows of local shops throughout the month of June. The windows can be recognized by the colorful sticker: ‘Kunstroute -Te Kijk’ in the windows of several shops in

ERICA WELLING joins with ‘Dévotion - Mondrian rencontre Goethe & Steiner’ which can be seen LIVE in the window of .oosterbeek during the entire month of June, so 1 week to see!! 🥳

ABOUT THE WORK:
Rudolf Steiner’s view of the transcendental world and his vision of evolution have left a mark on Mondrian’s conception of art throughout his life. In Mondrian’s Zeeland works, pure, radiant colors could be seen, which were more in line with his experience than with what he saw. He tried with color contrasts such as red and blue, in accordance with Goethe’s theory of colors, to place material reality in the background and illustrate the reality.

By capturing the astral light a connection is made between Mondrian’s artistic search & that of Goethe & Steiner.

👉 The work was in 2020 also selected for the poster/affiche, but because the did not went on that year (we all know why...), this poster is now being exhibited for the FIRST TIME during the overview of 25 years of posters/affiches in library Oosterbeek.
