Detonator & Bighead . Two Generations, One Hardcore Legacy !!!

Detonator is a veteran of the Dutch hardcore scene, with roots going back to the early 2000s. As a DJ from The Hague, he became part of the city’s hardcore movement, performing at events such as Hardcore Invasion and The Hague Insanity, alongside names like Bass-D, The Viper, Nosferatu and Mindf**k. His style and history are strongly connected to the Early and Millennium Hardcore era.
artist represents a newer generation, with the same passion for Millennium and Early Hardcore. Through his mixes and performances, he keeps the sound of that era alive, bringing the classic hardcore sound to a new audience.

But there is an extra special connection between them: Detonator is Bighead’s stepfather.

Last Friday at Bridgeway Records, the two finally brought that connection together behind the decks in a special back-to-back session. Two generations, one family, and one shared love for hardcore.

From The Hague’s hardcore history to the next generation .. Detonator & Bighead proving that hardcore really is a family affair.

LIEKZ_Music is a rising name in the Dutch uptempo scene, known for her energetic sets, unexpected edits and a whole lot of attitude. She has already been making waves with her Intents Festival 2025 DJ Contest set, and is steadily building her reputation across the harder styles scene.

She has already brought her sound to events like Next Realm in Hengelo, where she shared the line-up with names such as Spitnoise and Abaddon, and The Virus Breakout in Club Rodenburg, delivering high-energy uptempo madness alongside artists like Berzerker and Jur Terreur. She has also been featured in the Uptempo Project Invites series, showcasing her sound to a wider audience.

This week we present you MR. MOOMBAHTON!

Kevin van Es , also known as Kevin van Es, is a Dutch DJ, producer, and event organiser with a real passion for energetic music and entertainment. Active since 2016, he has built his identity around moombahton while also blending elements of urban, house, and hardstyle into his sets.

Known for his high energy performances, crowd interaction, and creative edits, Mr. Moombahton brings a party atmosphere wherever he performs. He is also the founder of Temperature Crew, a DJ collective focused on bringing energetic sounds and entertainment to events.

Meet Ian, better known as DJ REBELLIAN .
A passionate Dutch hardcore DJ with a deep love for oldschool rave and the harder styles, Ian is steadily making his mark on the underground hardcore scene. Trained and mentored by Chuck One, he has developed his own energetic style, combining classic hardcore influences with powerful, high-energy sets.

Besides performing, Ian is also part of the organisation behind From Roots to Rage, where he helps create events that celebrate the true spirit of hardcore and rave culture. He also preformed on the movie : Hardcore never dies.

Over the years, DJ Rebellian has performed at several Dutch hardcore events, including Snowbass Festival, and he continues to expand his presence within the scene. His next milestone is performing at Play! Festival, where he will share the line-up with respected names from the hardcore community, including his mentor Chuck One.

This time he will show his talent at the Bridgeway Records stage! A 1 Hour Next-Gen hardcore session with a touch of oldschool hardcore! Be ready for this one❤️

Arno van den Herik is a Dutch hardstyle DJ known for his energetic sets featuring Hardstyle Classics, Early Hardstyle, Euphoric Hardstyle, Raw Classics, and Millennium Hardcore. His passion for the harder styles began in the 1990s, and he has built a reputation for bringing the classic hardstyle sound back to the dancefloor.
