The “Airwalk Events” brand was founded in 2007 by Isaac Vissers, widely known to the dance music populous as “Fisherman”, in partnership with “Perron 55”, a local club situated in the south of The Netherlands, “Venlo” to be exact. This exciting partnership brought “Venlo” to new heights, placing it on the Dutch dance music enthusiast’s map, seeking and craving their dose of high quality beats and
an enticing atmosphere to match it. This was a bold move which resulted in serious success. The many “Coldharbour Nights”, “Pure Trance Night” and plenty of multi-line-up club shows are testaments to the above statement.
2018 was a unique and fruitful year for the brand as the concept of “The Airwalk Indoor Trance Festival” was brought kicking and screaming into the world! A festival unlike no other, a celebration of trance music and an undeniable stepping stone for the brand, which would ultimately cement its legacy furthermore in the world of clubland. Established household names such as “Markus Schulz”, “Ferry Corsten”, “Cosmic Gate” and “Bryan Kearney” were all part of this mighty adventure as were the founder himself “Fisherman” alongside “Nifra”. The fans eagerly devoured it all and were soon anticipating a follow up edition. In 2019 “The Airwalk Indoor Trance Festival” made its ferocious return, boasting an incredulous lineup plus a captivating original audio visual story to accompany it all: “The New Breed”. “Ilan Bluestone”, “KhoMha”, “Andrew Rayel”, “Giuseppe Ottaviani”, “Johan Gielen” and many more artists were a definite part of this exciting new chapter. Its success was much more than anyone expected, boasting the crazy amount of over 2000 party goers from all over the world flocking to Venlo for a night that remained carved in their hearts and memories alike. Since 2019 the brand ventured onward, exploring new horizons while temporarily leaving earth behind to embrace the water element as well. “Airwalk Boat Parties” became a thing on the “Maashopper” in “Venlo” and currently on the “Stedemaeght” in “Lelystad”.
