Wispfire has won the Dutch Game Award for Best Narrative for Herald! We're humbled and incredibly proud that the jury saw Herald as the best story in Dutch games this year, and continues to support narrative-driven games with this beautiful award.

Something we really hope to achieve with Herald is subverting the video-game-y assumption that games have to be power fantasies. As Devan, you'll have to contend with an unfair world that will punish you for standing up for what's right, and sometimes, to save a friend, you'll have to weather abuse.

unfortunately, we were not able to find an appropriate moment in our interactive 19th century period drama about inequality and powerlessness for our lead character Devan Rensburg to display his Devancopter ability, so it was cut from the final game
