Come by this Wednesday 17th for our LAST open mic of the year! For this special occasion we’re inviting you all to put on your best Christmas outfit - maybe you have a Christmas jumper or you want to fully dress up in a Christmas theme - we challenge you to show up as festive as you can for the chance to win a special prize!!

As usual we will be having our communal dinner from 19:00 to 20:00 for 5€ per person. 🍽️
First act is at 20:00 and maybe some will sing Christmas songs if they feel like it! 🎤

Hey Friends!
I hope you are surviving your wednesdays without open mics in the moira 😉
There is a special event happening this week that i want to share with you! are organising another edition of Power to the Folk! at this saturday.
It's an event to celebrate the beautifil cultural diversity of humankind by bringing together folk music from different traditions around the world.

will play poetic latin american and festive spanish gypsy musicfolk will play some proper dutch traditional folk music
ft. will play fiery portuguese folk and intervention music.

The band programme starts around 18/00. In the afternoon (starting at 14/00) there is a market with local utrecht artisans offering their arts.
For all you musicians: bring your instruments cause the amazing will lead a jam session between 14/00-17/00.

It's a donation based event, all the donations go to these beautiful artists!

Hi friends! I'd like to share a new open mic in town, in an amazing location: he stadsklooster. Go check ik out to play and to listen!

Here's all the practicals:
Stadsklooster Utrecht is having an open call for artists to perform. On Friday May 24th the Stadsklooster Open Stage will take place in the beautiful former church. Do you want to perform with your ensemble? Try out a new performance? Sign up your 15 min act in this form: https://forms.gle/xsBajkLazLAc8yxi8, we will make a diverse selection. On the evening itself the last 2 acts can sign up before 19:45. Curious or looking for a nice evening? Visit the open stage, entrance is free. The next open stage is on June 14th, and from September it will on be organized every month on the second last Friday.
