I 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐚 𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞-𝐒𝐢𝐳𝐞 𝐓. 𝐫𝐞𝐱 𝐒𝐤𝐮𝐥𝐥 𝐬𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐩𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞!🦖

🌿This is a sculpture inspired by the iconic Tyrannosaurus rex dinosaur.
It's a depiction of its massive skull. It's about 50 % scale. The teeth are hand carved from wood. The skull itself is made from mainly polyurethane and clay.

🌿The T. rex lived in the Cretaceous period 65 million years ago.
Arguably considered to be the ultimate terrestrial predator ever to walk the planet.
Its fossils demand the highest prizes of all dinosaurs sold, going for millions of dollars at auction. So was perhaps the most famous individual found and sold, named "Sue'' after its discoverer.
There was a big controversy about its ownership, resulting in several lawsuits. Ending in the specimen being confiscated by the American government.

👉The Dino sculpture is about 100 cm long

👉This T. rex skull model is made of strong polyester.

👉The teeth are hand-carved out of wood in short, a lot of work!

👉I made a life-size sculpture of 𝐂𝐀𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐎𝐈𝐃𝐄𝐒 𝐎𝐇𝐈𝐎𝐄𝐍𝐒𝐈𝐒, the 𝐆𝐈𝐀𝐍𝐓 𝐁𝐄𝐀𝐕𝐄𝐑
👉Stands 150 cm high

🌿𝘾𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙤𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙨 𝙤𝙝𝙞𝙤𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙨, was an extinct 𝐆𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐛𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐫 that lived in North America during the Ice Age. It was much larger than today's beavers, about the size of a black bear.
🌿This 𝐆𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐛𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐫 was the largest known rodent in North America during the Pleistocene and the largest beaver that ever existed.
🌿It had long, chisel like teeth like it's living ancestors. However it is unlikely they built dams like the modern Beavers of today.
Unfortunately, this distant cousin of the modern beaver went extinct, estimated around 10,000 years ago.

🌿View ancient predators and their encounters in the ice age wilderness. The Neanderthals and cave hyenas clash in a battle for survival. It is a vivid representation of prehistoric life from the Pleistocene.

𝐁𝐈𝐆𝐆𝐄𝐒𝐓 𝐀𝐏𝐄 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 having lunch with 𝐎𝐋𝐃𝐄𝐒𝐓 𝐇𝐔𝐌𝐀𝐍🌿

🌿Sharing a free lunch with our big cousin🌿

Depicted is the extinct giant ape; 𝙂𝙄𝙂𝘼𝙉𝙏𝙊𝙋𝙄𝙏𝙃𝙀𝘾𝙐𝙎 blacki and our direct ancestor; Homo erectus.
𝙂𝙄𝙂𝘼𝙉𝙏𝙊𝙋𝙄𝙏𝙃𝙀𝘾𝙐𝙎 was the largest ape that ever existed on Earth. Debates about how big it actually was are ongoing. Partly because of the very sparse evidence of the creature found up until now.

These consist of individual teeth first discovered in a Chinese drugstore sold as 'dragon teeth' and four partial fossil lower jaws. Of course, it’s hard to reconstruct an entire organism from so little remains.
Estimates and reconstructions because of this have been highly speculative.
But it’s currently thought to have been at least 300 kg and about 3 meters tall when standing upright.

For a long time it had been thought to be a bipedal hominine. Possibly giving rise to the legendary Bigfoot or Sasquatch, and Yeti or Abominable snowman mythologies. However, modern technology consisting of ’Protein-peptide Sequencing’ showed it to have been closely related to the Orangutan apes of today. So I made it to look like the red ape.

The human figure posing next to the behemoth is a Homo erectus hominine that lived around the time the big apes went extinct. Nobody will ever know if they actually met, but it is conceivable they did. The ape was almost certainly a herbivore like the Orangutans and gorilla’s today, and most likely a gentle giant. That being said, I would not want to get on their bad side because it could probably rip your limbs off if it wanted to.

𝐌𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐝𝐨𝐧 𝐯𝐬 𝐋𝐢𝐯𝐲𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐧: 𝐖𝐡𝐨 𝐖𝐢𝐧𝐬?🤔

In this video, we dive into the epic battle between the Megalodon and the Livyatan - who will win? Watch to find out! 🐋

🦈In a battle between 𝐌𝐄𝐆𝐀𝐋𝐎𝐃𝐎𝐍 and 𝐋𝐈𝐕𝐘𝐀𝐓𝐀𝐍, both ancient titans would rely on their massive size and powerful jaws.
Megalodon would likely rely on its speed, agility, and sheer brute force, utilizing its massive jaws and razor-sharp teeth to inflict devastating bites on Livyatan.

On the other hand, Livyatan would leverage its superior intelligence, possible social behavior , and potentially greater maneuverability in the water to evade Megalodon's attacks and deliver powerful counterattacks with its formidable jaws and massive bulk.

The outcome would hinge on factors like tactics and environmental advantages. It's a clash of oceanic giants, with the result too close to call definitively.

This life-size sculpture is a very realistic reconstruction of the 𝐖𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐦𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐡.

Its huge tusks are actually cast from the famous Jarkov mammoth, found in 1997 on the permafrost plains of Siberia.
