Was at work and a customer came in. Without greeting me first, the guy just said, out loud: 'Triangle!'
Of course I got the feeling he was looking for a set Triangle, but still 🫠 people sure are.... interesting. ( I didn't reply by saying 'square!' btw, but lordy that would've been funny if I did 🙈)

Wow, mijn sofa op de voorpagina van Brabants Dagblad!
Op deze SocialSofa in Den Bosch is er werkelijk plaats voor iedereen, juist om wie je bent.

Nederland moet een land zijn waar verscheidenheid gevierd wordt en waar stilgestaan (en gezeten) moet worden bij inclusiviteit en tolerantie. Daklozen zijn dan ook geen uitzondering en maken zeker deel uit van onze samenleving. Een hele nobele daad.

Yesss!

At the end of September in the weekend of the 24th and 25th, proper person Dian van Vugt and I will be attending the art fair in Hauwert which is in North Holland!

For this occasion I'm busy creating a work where I'm fusing the Hoofdtoren that's situated in Hoorn with one of my characters.

During the art fair I'll be selling old and newer works, so drop on by!

Eind september in het weekend van de 24 en 25e sta ik samen met proper persoon op de kunstmarkt te Hauwert in Noord Holland!

Speciaal voor deze occasion ben ik bezig met een werk waarin ik de Hoofdtoren van Hoorn samensmelt met één van mijn personages.

Tijdens de kunstmarkt verkoop ik oud en nieuw werk, dus kom langs in Hauwert in Hoorn.

Titel: GRANDALLure.exe

'Een mysterieus androgyne figuur dat zich heeft versmolten met de architectuur van de Sint-Janskerk. Met als fundering grandeur en een overweldigende aanwezigheid, vraagt het werk om je aandacht. . Hoe langer je kijkt, hoe meer er wordt onthuldt. Geen enkel detail is onmisbaar. Alles is belangrijk.'

Een tijd geleden heb ik dit werk gemaakt voor de Kunstprijs van .nl met als thema 'Beleef de Sint-Jan'.

Het werk is een statement waar je juist door het gevraagde aanpassingsvermogen van de buitenwereld je jezelf beter leert kennen, vormt en vestigt zonder jezelf kwijt te raken.

Ik maak samen met anderen deel uit van de groepsexpositie dat loopt van 10 juni t/m 10 september. Hoewel dit een digitale tekening is, zal deze als print hangen in de Sint-Janskerk.

Lately I'm focusing a lot on voice acting, so I decided to share a demo reel where I showcase my voice in English! I'm involved in a couple of projects already, which is awesome 😁 so looking forward to the results 🤗

Almost a year ago I took part in ! Their edition then was appropriately named The Könt of Silence.

This was my contribution after being on the phone for 20 or so minutes with someone. But the interesting thing was that we did not speak for that time. From those 20 silent minutes we had to describe how it made us feel which i had put into written words, like cluster of thoughts put on paper. It did feel awkward, but there was also the understanding that we didn't speak because we didn't want to. An interesting experience.
