Grauzone festival is a multidisciplinary underground festival with a diverse and cutting-edge programme where music, film and art complement each other. Grauzone features young talent as well as established names rooted in or influenced by the underground music scene from new wave, elektronic to psychedelic and experimental. The program consists of performances by (international) bands and DJ’s, a symposium with lectures and interviews, an (GRAUKUNST) exhibition and a film program.

Berlin duo Unhuman & Petra Flurr fuse synth-punk, q***r wave, EBM and techno into what they call “q***r death techno.” Raw, seductive and irresistibly physical, their pounding rhythms, distorted vocals and post-punk tension are made for dark dancefloors. Danish post-punks Iceage have become one of the most influential and adventurous bands of their generation.

Their acclaimed new album, For the Love of Grace & the Hereafter (2026), has been hailed one of their finest works yet. After an unforgettable Grauzone debut in 2013 and Elias Rønnenfelt’s solo in 2022, we’re thrilled to welcome the full band back to Grauzone festival 2027! Berlin-based musician and artist Rosa Anschütz returns to Grauzone festival 2027 with her stunning fourth album, Sabbatical. Released via Heartworm Press, founded by Cold Cave's Wes Eisold. Following acclaimed collaborations, including a remix by Ellen Allien, Rosa now returns with an expanded live line-up featuring a drummer—bringing even more depth, intensity and power to her mesmerizing performances.

Dark, hypnotic and impossible to ignore: we’re thrilled to welcome Laura Krieg to Grauzone festival 2027.

We’ve been following her for a while and are excited to finally bring her unique blend of darkwave, post-punk and “brutalist pop” to the festival.

In 2025 she released her second album Crépuscule on Berlin-based Detriti Records, home for bands such as Molchat Doma, The Serfs and Filmmaker.
