Hamed Sbeata is a Palestinian journalist, videomaker and visual storyteller who, in the last five years, has documented human experiences and stories from the GazaHe has collaborated with TRT World, Sky News Arabia, and French television media on news reports, documentaries, and special coverage from Gaza. He also produced materials that supported humanitarian advocacy and raised international awareness of the situation in Gaza.
Hamed’s work will take you on an emotional journey into Gaza’s daily life at the time of genocide. The works on display aim at conveying the strength and resilience of the Palestinian people. For almost three years we have been exposed to images of sufferings and destruction, so much that we feel desensitized: what if we look for those sparks of daily life and naive normalcy? What if they couldn’t destroy a smile?

During the event you can contribute toward supporting the project "More Food For Gaza", a solidarity initiative organised by Ghazal Palestine. This project aims to provide immediate, emergency food assistance to 2000 displaced families in the Gaza Strip by improving their access to basic food supplies through the distribution of 2,000 food parcels.
