🌞 ZUMBA SUMMER PARTY – OUTDOOR AT SPORTCAMPUS ZUIDERPARK 🌞

Get ready for a big summer celebration! Angela, Ouafa & Walter will make you dance in a special outdoor Zumba Party full of Latin music, energy, smiles and great vibes.

Three instructors, one party and two hours to dance, move, have fun and enjoy Zumba together! And when the Zumba session finishes, the day doesn’t have to end — we’ll continue with more activities, music and time to connect with our community.

Bring something to eat if you like and stay afterwards for a relaxed picnic, food, music and summer party atmosphere in Zuiderpark.

Come alone, bring your friends or invite your family. You don’t need to be an experienced dancer — just come ready to move and enjoy!

Folklore Week continues 🌎

This time, we travel through Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua — three countries with powerful traditions shaped by Indigenous, mestizo, Afro-descendant and Caribbean heritage.

From Guatemala’s Maya textiles, marimba, Rabinal Achí and traditional flavors, to Honduras’ regional dress, Lenca traditions, Garífuna culture, punta, baleadas and Caribbean rhythms, and Nicaragua’s colorful world of dance, masks, theater, festivals and popular celebrations.

Folklore is not something frozen in the past.

It lives in the clothes people wear, the food families prepare, the music communities play, the dances they continue to teach and the stories passed from one generation to another.

Three countries.
Many roots.
One region full of living culture.

In this carousel, we travel through the United States and Mexico to discover how diverse folklore can be — even within the same country.

From Appalachian traditions, African American folk roots, Cajun & Creole culture and Native American nations in the U.S., to the sounds, dances and traditions of Jalisco, Veracruz, Michoacán, Sonora and Oaxaca in Mexico.

Two neighboring countries.
Hundreds of communities.
Countless stories passed from one generation to the next.
