Want to taste art? 👀 on January 16th, chef Thomas Vandenhecke (head chef at ñ since 2029) is creating a delicious menu for Edible Concepts inspired by the exhibition Travels in scale by Agnieszka Polska that is currently on view at 1646.

For each edition, 1646 invites a chef to respond to the exhibition with flavour sensations, unexpected textures and exceptional garnishes 🍴 A multi-course dinner full of culinary experimentation and edible interpretations, served amid the artworks – for one evening, the exhibition transforms into a sensory total experience.

Join the first group exhibition of 2026 at The Grey Space in the Middle 👀 Five artists will represent their work delving into the existence, preservation, and archiving of memories in relation to tools of the digital age 🤖

The exhibition, which examines what happens when technology becomes both the vessel and the mirror of our memories, is a collection selected by our guest curator, Balázs Milánik, with works featured by Athanor, Ieva Jakusa, Shai Datauker, Dewi Mac Donald and Dmytro Tentiuk.

Come see the free exhibition on Friday from 16:00 to 20:00 (with the official opening at 17:00) and from 15:00 to 19:00 on Saturday and Sunday. Entrance is free, but please register at The Grey Space website 🎟️

With all the busy holidays behind us, we can't help but yet again look back at a wonderful 2025. Our highlight of the year was definitely the 15th edition of Museumnacht Den Haag and celebrating with all of you 🥹

Wanna get in the festive mood on Christmas Eve? 🎄 Tomorrow evening between 17:00 and 21:00, Castle Hofwijck of the Huygens Museum will be illuminated from the inside out during the Light Night ✨ Wander through the cozy, light-filled streets of Voorburg to Hofwijck, where you can enjoy music from carollers and snuggle up by the fire with some hot chocolate. A New Blue – The Exoplanet Movie launches you into deep space in search of distant worlds; exoplanets that might just look a little like our own 🌍 This immersive fulldome film was created especially for planetariums worldwide and gives you that "I’m totally an astronaut right now"-feeling. Expect sweeping visuals, cosmic discoveries and a front-row seat to the universe.

A classic we cannot forget about: the KB nationale bibliotheek 📚 You guys turned this place into a late-night playground: black-out poetry, spacey photobooth, games and of course the jukebox serving music and drinks 💜 From creative chaos to secret stacks: this place was buzzing all night long.
