I stay....
"I've been saving stuff for you, to use to your advantage. I won't be needing it anymore. Use as you see fit. Don't mind it was mine, now it's yours. Maybe you come to the conclusion you will not need it. In that case please find someone else for it. Someone, somewhere, but do not treat it as waste. That would really be a waste. A waste of time, a waste of me, a waste of Art. That would be pittyfull, for I had my reasons. I had a reason why I kept it. Sometimes I don't even remember why, but there must have been a reason, otherwise I wouldn't have kept it........
You go, I stay here. The Indian way. We will part. I stay, you go. I will cling on to the last tree and listen to its dying heartbeat.
I will dream its flowers and its fruit, its leaves and its bark. I will dream the wind playing in its branches and the beautiful birds building their nests. It will tell me its stories between my lines......"
