A global icon, Bboy Wicket (Gabriel Jaochico) spent decades hiding his true identity. After 41 years in the closet, he confronts the secret that shaped his life and career. Through legendary battle footage and candid interviews, the film traces his rise to fame and his journey toward self-acceptance; revealing how love, for an art, another person, or oneself, can transform a life. 𝙒𝙞𝙘𝙠𝙚𝙩 is an intimate portrait of legacy, community, and the freedom of living fully as yourself.

This screening is accompanied by a live performance from himself.

Gratis te zien tijdens Holland Dance Festival 2026

​Op 17 februari 2026 staat het Londense hiphop-theatercollectief Boy Blue met hun niet te missen voorstelling 'Cycles' in Amare Den Haag, als onderdeel van het Holland Dance Festival.

​Als speciaal warm-up-programma voor deze voorstelling laten twee van de meest toonaangevende hiphopbroedplaatsen van Nederland, Haags Hiphop Centrum en Foundation Amsterdam Hiphop Center, zien wat zij in huis hebben door het elkaar flink lastig te maken op de dansvloer. Er staat een flinke dosis bragging rights op het spel voor beide squads, dus verwacht de nodige hitte! Het mooiste van alles? Dit is alleen maar het begin van de avond!

​Na de exhibition battle kun je direct door naar de voorstelling 'Cycles' van Boy Blue. Tickets voor de voorstelling koop je op de website van het Holland Dance Festival.
