Frankie Vázquez is one of salsa’s finest soneros and the voice behind hits like “Aló Aló”.

Born in Salinas, Puerto Rico, and raised in New York, “El Sonero del Barrio” built his reputation across some of the most respected orchestras in salsa. From Wayne Gorbea’s Salsa Picante to Manny Oquendo’s Conjunto Libre, to La Sonora Matancera, Los Hermanos Lebrón, and the Grammy-winning Spanish Harlem Orchestra, whose 2002 debut album he helped bring to life.

Widely regarded as one of the finest exponents of classic salsa dura performing today, he’s turned improvisation into a defining art form, raw, authentic, and rooted deep in the streets of New York.

Frankie brings decades of pure salsa history to Amare, to the most anticipated social dance of the year.

This November 21st, The Hague becomes Salsa City.

One of the last living legends of salsa’s golden era is coming to the Netherlands for the first time ever: Tito Allen.

Born in 🇵🇷 Santurce, Puerto Rico, he moved to New York in 1972 and became the voice behind “Indestructible” with Ray Barretto in 1973, widely regarded as one of the defining albums of salsa’s golden age. Known as “El Elegante de la Salsa,” his silky voice and refined style put him at the center of the Fania era, fronting Ray Barretto, Típica 73, Louie Ramirez, and Tito Puente. Over the years, he’s shared stages with nearly every major name of the era, including the Fania All Stars.

His live appearances today are rare, and this is one you won’t want to miss: all his hits, live at the most anticipated social dance of the year.
