‘’Buen Rollo I’’ by 🌼

Mari Ito majored in Nihonga traditional Japanese-style painting in Tokyo before settling in Barcelona in 2006. From that foundation, she has built a body of work that pushes far beyond tradition, blending loud colour with sensitive, sophisticated line work.

Her recurring motif, flowers with faces, turns childhood memory into something universal: happiness, sorrow and wrath, all wrapped in a humoristic way 😅

Through these whimsical blooms, Ito invites us to look closer at the emotions we all carry, one charming, faceted flower at a time.

Arthur Meijer 🏛️
Sculptor, based in Amsterdam

Arthur Meijer is a Dutch sculptor known for his imaginary buildings and architecturally inspired forms. Shaped by his travels through Yemen, Morocco and Peru, he creates sculptures in warm earth tones that combine fine craftsmanship with details drawn from Mediterranean and Arabic architecture.

His works, made from terracotta, bronze, metal or plastic, are regularly exhibited at art fairs, galleries and museums. Through these architectural sculptures,Meijer explores themes of travel and timelessness, creating work that feels both solid and dreamlike.

"Het verlangen" (2002) by Hans Kanters

This specialpainting was created by Hans Kanters (Amsterdam, 1947), a self-taught Dutch artist working at the intersection of surrealism and imaginary realism. For decades he has followed his own artistic course, independent of trends, developing a technically refined style he describes as a personal "Surrealist Theater."

In his carefully composed worlds, reality and imagination flow seamlessly into one another. Human figures, architecture and dreamlike elements combine into intriguing scenes full of symbolism, mystery and narrative power. You are invited to keep discovering new details 😍

What makes an artwork valuable isn't just its price tag, it's a combination of factors that come together 🎨

Reputation, provenance, rarity, condition and demand all play their part. None of them alone determines value, but together they tell the story of why one artwork is worth more than another.

Look past the price tag and get to know the work behind it.

Christian Ibink and his discarded solar panels ♻️

Christian Ibink is a Dutch artist who transforms discarded solar panels into contemporary artworks. By preserving the original solar cells and combining them with craftsmanship and a high-gloss finish, he gives industrial materials a completely new visual identity.

Driven by sustainability and innovation, Ibink’s work explores the value of reuse and circular design. Each artwork carries the traces of its previous life, creating unique works that combine contemporary aesthetics with a meaningful story.

''La blonde au corsage noir'' (1930) by Kees van Dongen

In ''La blonde au corsage noir'', Kees van Dongen shows the elegance and allure that made his portraits so different. With colour contrasts, expressive brushwork, and a confident gaze, he transforms a simple portrait into an image full of presence and personality.

As one of the leading Fauvist painters, Van Dongen became celebrated for his modern, fashionable portraits of women. In this piece, his vivid palette and economical style create a composition that feels both refined and suprisingly direct.

''Deia''by Eric Morren

Eric Morren’s sculptures are built from welded steel using simple geometric forms such as circles and vertical lines. Their clean, architectural appearance is balanced by a sense of mystery, suggesting antennas, totems or objects that connect the earthly with the unknown.

Inspired by modernist sculpture and shaped by his own artistic journey, Morren creates works that combine industrial materials with quiet symbolism. We love the result: a sculptural language that is both minimal and full of character 🙌
