We had a very special guest in the studio last week! Meet Nuri (sorry for misspelling your name buddy), an senior Devon Rex, and one of the most gentle cats I got to meet! We really took our time with this one and gave him plenty of snacks and breaks!

However, the sad part is that little Nuri has dementia and a tumor in the lymph. He is exceeding every expectation so far and keeps going strong, however, knowing his condition his moms really wanted some lasting memories of their lovely boy.

This shoot was such an honour to do. And honestly, I would definetly love to shoot more animals in the studio! Would you like to get some portraits of (or with) your fluffy friend? Feel free to dm!

Back to my roots: last Sunday we did a bandshoot in Noordwijk for an album release! Special kudo’s to my fiancee who has been carrying around 2 flashes for the 4 hours of shooting!

It would not be the first time I’ll take a plane for a bandshoot honestly 😂 but The Netherlands, Belgium, part of France and Germany or even the UK are easily doable by car.

Aangezien we sinds kort terug trouwerijen aannemen, heb ik de gearchiveerde website met onder andere trouwfoto's terug gepubliceerd, aangepast en aangevuld. Momenteel zijn wij bezig met het maken van een nieuwe website, met daarop ook recenter werk en het aanbod van de fotostudio.

Maar voor nu, zie deze website voor het trouwportfolio van de afgelopen jaren.

When Yentle walked in, she started the conversation with “I’m nervous”. She explained that getting photos made had never really been “her thing”. And this is a thing I hear from a lot of people. In my daily job, I’m a photojournalist. It’s literally day after day making photos of people who are not used to being in front of a camera. So it is my job, to make their discomfort less. To bring out something genuine. Photography is by many people seen as a very technical job. It’s about light, composition, editing, settings. And yes, those things are important. But unless you only work with professional models, and even in that case, photography is a lot about how you make people feel. It’s about communication. Because in the end, we catch emotions that are present. In our studio, we specialise in creative work, which is what I show the most on here. But if you strip down the fancy costumes and concepts, the base always remains the same. Portrait Photography is about how you make people feel.

A Brawler Vi shoot we did last week with Akuro in our studio in Axel, the Netherlands, just next to the Belgian border! Bookings are still open for discounted prices, since we are still renovating. We don’t just do cosplay, but also regular portraits, family portraits, weddings ect. Just send a DM to book!

Gisteren hebben we wat lopen experimenteren in de studio. Het is honestly onwijs fijn om naast een plek om werk uit te voeren, ook een plek te hebben om zelf creatief te zijn en lol te hebben.

Deze foto is geïnspireerd op een Kim Kardashian foto van heel wat jaar terug. Het is een zelfportret in Cosplay van Resident Evil Village. Met hulp van mijn verloofde en een vriendin die momenteel bij ons logeert.

Nu de studio er is, is de sky de limit. Momenteel zijn prijzen nog laag omdat we nog in verbouwing zitten en alles nog niet perfect gestroomlijnd is. Maar dat beïnvloed niet de kwaliteit van foto’s die geleverd wordt. Mocht je een gek, leuk of bijzonder idee hebben, dan kan je me altijd een dm sturen om te overleggen. Maar ook voor simpele portretten voor CV, familieportretten ect staan mijn DM’s altijd open.

Daarnaast hebben we ook een keer in de zoveel tijd sets opgebouwd staan. Momenteel staat er een groot hart voor Valentijnsdag bijvoorbeeld, die te boeken is vanaf €75 exc btw.

De studio is in Axel, Nederland. Vlak naast de Belgische grens.

Vandaag voor een bespreking bij Het Lodewijk college geweest, waar momenteel een aantal van mijn foto’s groot aan de muren hangen! Eind vorig jaar heb ik de leraren en een aantal evenementen mogen vastleggen, waaronder het bezoek van een tweetal astronauten!
