For , it starts with trust, instinct and really listening to the music. How a dancer responds to the moment, the space and the energy around them.

Knowledge and technique matter, but so does trusting yourself enough to use them in the moment.

Setting the rhythm for IDL. 🎧

Joel-W 🇳🇱 joins the DJ line-up for IDL Festival.

Representing XGEN, Ghetto Funk Family and Perdu Dans La Sauce, his sets move across House and its subgenres, from Deep and Afro to Acid, Broken Beats and Gqom. Different sounds, unexpected turns and plenty of rhythm to keep the floor moving.

The Open Call for the IDL Showcase Competition is almost closed. 🔥

Submit a 3 to 5 minute showcase with 1 to 10 dancers for a chance to perform at IDL Festival and earn a spot at Theatre Night 2027.

World Champion. IDL winner. Rotterdam’s own. 🔥

Jeems 🇳🇱 is a 2vs2 Hip Hop World Champion and former IDL winner. From Rotterdam, he’s taken his Hip Hop to battles around the world, competing, performing and judging internationally.

This October, he returns to IDL as judge for the 1vs1 Hip Hop battle and as a Battle Guest in the 2vs2 IDL Open Styles. ⚔️

As part of The Great 8, Jeems will be paired with another invited Battle Guest and enter the 2vs2 battle directly in the Top 8, where they’ll face the duos coming through the preselections. 👀

This October, KYOKA from RUSHBALL takes on two sides of the IDL floor. ⚔️

KYOKA 🇯🇵 has competed and won on some of the biggest Hip Hop battle stages around the world. Together with MAiKA, she forms Rushball, the Japanese Hip Hop duo they started as kids and went on to win major battles worldwide. She also became the first non-breaking dancer to join Red Bull’s global dancer roster.

At IDL, she’ll judge the 1vs1 Hip Hop battle and step onto the floor herself as a Battle Guest in the 2vs2 IDL Open Styles. 🔥

Legidjo Saridjo Revelinho Sarijoen 🇳🇱 joins IDL 2026 as judge for the 1vs1 Popping battle. A familiar name in the Dutch Popping scene, Karui has years of experience as a dancer and battle competitor.

And you’ll see him battle too. 👀 As part of The Great 8, he’ll team up with another 1vs1 judge for the 2vs2 IDL Open Styles, facing dancers who make it through the preselections.

From America’s Best Dance Crew to the IDL floor. ⚡

Jaja Vankova 🇨🇿 won America’s Best Dance Crew with I.aM.mE, reached the final four of So You Think You Can Dance and appeared in the movie Step Up: All In (2014).
She has performed, taught and judged around the world.

With a foundation in Popping, animation, Krump and freestyle, she has developed a movement language completely her own.

This October, JAJA joins the 1vs1 Popping judging table and enters the 2vs2 IDL Open Styles as a Battle Guest (part of the Great 8).
