Hello readers! It had....a stage....!

I would like to share a short story with you...

Part one:

Since I was a child I was dreaming of a small and intimate concert and performance space which, would allow experiments to happen and would invite artists to feel free to express them selves. I myself love going to performances and particularly to concerts. However, each time I keep realizing that the concert halls require artists and au

diences to behave in a certain way. Therefore there is a distance created between them. As a musician I came up with several ideas and projects which were not supported by "alternative or experimental spaces" as they were considered as "too classical". In contradiction, they were also not supported by classical music halls as they were considered as "too alternative and experimental". As a result I felt the necessity to create a space in which different things are allowed to happen as long as they have a reason. In this space, artists would have no competition with each other and they would not be obliged to follow certain rules.. The only requirement would be an honest approach to their work. This space should definitely be small and intimate without proper back stage rooms so the artists would not be able to "escape" from the audience before and after the performances! They should be allowed to talk to their audience, share their ideas or even cook for them and drink together their favorite tea smile emoticon

Part two:

A few weeks ago I needed to move to an other apartment...
I then started looking for an affordable one and I stumbled upon an ex working space which was in a quite bad condition and needed a lot of fixing! Despite its low price, it wouldn't be a space I would normally be interested in as my budget is quite low and I couldn't easily pay for many things to be repaired.. However, this space had something which made it look weird (for a living space) and made me want it desperately! Dear readers! If you link the two parts of my story, you will clearly see the point of departure of Panos~Pianos studio! I promise to put all my effort and good energy and make it into a warm, inspiring and intimate space for me and all of you! Dear friends,

Yesterday was the last day of the 3-day festival at my place.. "Evenings Without Wanda"
I have no words to express what happened there..

My dream was to create a space and the conditions in order to invite people to leave their expectations to the side and forget about the strict timing of a common event.. Just to rely on the moment!
We were always out of time, exploring (partly unconsciously) the borders between a conversation and a performance or a nice chat and a rehearsal!

The concept happened to be like that... Some people I deeply love and trust spent some time in the same house.. These people happen to be great sources of energy and with a very pure intention!
At some point we all couldn't believe we would have an audience or we could make anything work.. However, we were all surprised when we started relying on each other, collaborating, cooking, performing and having meditation and mindfulness sessions all together..

Suddenly magic started happening!

TJ, Pawel, Mariza, Panagiota, Joana, Saskia, Sophie, Sofi, Thodori, Danai, Sebastian, Anahid, Sara, Daniel, Ernest, Luc, Moniek, Marga, Natasa, Maria, Renato, Stamati, Letizia, Nino, Pieter Jan, Georgia, Ferhat, Miguel and everyone who attended or did something fir the festival..
Thank you all for giving life and something from your energy to our festival!

I would like to thank all the friends of Panos ~Pianos who supported our second event and particularly Nikos Stavlas for the grrrrrrreat moments he gave us :-) it was a very special and intense recital :-)
