KUNSTDUO BERKVELDT
Noëlle Ingeveldt (Master in Arts) en Juriaan van Berkel (Master in Arts), van Kunst duo Berkveldt, zijn de nieuwe Zookeepers van april t/m juni 2024.

MENS-NATUUR RELATIE
Noëlle & Juriaan onderzoeken de complexe mens-natuur relatie door wetenschap en kunst te combineren. ’s Nachts worden vele gebieden kunstmatig verlicht, waardoor de nachtelijke hemel minder zichtbaar wordt. Tijdens hun periode in Emmen zullen zij onderzoek doen naar de toenemende lichtvervuiling. Dit heeft niet alleen invloed op ons bioritme, maar veroorzaakt ook problemen voor de natuur, zoals vogels die ‘s nachts gedesoriënteerd raken.

GA MEE OP EXCURSIE
Het doel van Noëlle & Juriaan is om alle grote licht locaties van Emmen in kaart te brengen en deze op diverse manieren vast te leggen door gebruik te maken van fotografie, film, en audio-opnames. Je kunt deelnemen hun excursies voor het opnemen van de geluiden. Overdag kun je binnenlopen om mee te denken over het onderzoek en de licht locaties. Dus kom vooral langs!

Necrosonic Landscapes is an artistic research project exploring the transitional realm between life and death. It showcases the life that emerges from death, highlighting the importance of death in nature. For this audiovisual installation, we documented the decay of a deceased roebuck, recording both the sounds of the decomposition as making the metamorphosis in the soil visible by periodically sampling and filming the earth beneath the roebuck.

Necrosonic Landscapes Dutch Design Week 2023, BioArt Laboratories

Necrosonic Landscapes is an artistic research project exploring the transitional realm between life and death. It showcases the life that emerges from death, highlighting the importance of death in nature. Rotterdam Cultural Histories # 23 TENT Rotterdam : Under six meters of sand,
THE DISAPPEARANCE OF NATURE RESERVE DE BEER. 04.03.2023 – 25.06.2023

After being broadcast on RTV Rijnmond in 2021, the documentary Under Six Meters of Sand was shown during the 23rd edition of Rotterdam Cultural Histories at TENT Rotterdam earlier this year. Curated documents, writings and images from the personal archive of historian Ed Buijsman accompanied the film.
