Repost• HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
What a year it was. Despite Corona our studio had one of its best years in its 29 years of existence. Without traveling we did very nice collaborations in China, Japan, the USA, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Italy, India and of course mainly in The Netherlands. And the nice thing was we did not have to travel for them at all :) Great to see that more and more companies see the urge to stop global warming and to produce sustainable. We’re happy to share our knowledge.
Several museums acquired or work and it was exhibited in among others. Not to forget the solo museum exhibition
We had more press coverage than ever before including several cover stories and many others.
We did the art direction for Gispen and CSrugs (and two new companies we can’t reveal yet ;)
This year we also won several design awards including the Sustainable interior award and the Dezeen award.
A big thank you to all our clients .furniture .furniture and all the collectors who bought our editions, you know who you are ;)
Looking forward to all the projects in the pipeline! Let’s rock 2021 ⚡️❤️

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Dutch designer Richard Hutten has worked with Lensvelt to create 27,000 new seats for Amsterdam's Schiphol airport that make use of the building's existing resources.

Besides designing Richard Hutten Studio is also Art Directing several companies including Carpet Sign. During this years Salone in Milan Carpet Sign launched the Freedom collection. Richard Hutten selected personally all the artist/designers/architects for this collection, Including Sabine Marcelis, Irma Boom, MVRDV architects, Joep van Lieshout, Jolan van der Wiel, Studio Makkink+Bey, Christien Meindertsma and Wim Bos.
