HOORNENSEMBLE TOET!

Horn ensemble TOET! is a dynamic horn ensemble consisting of young professional and semi-professional horn players from across the Netherlands. The ensemble brings together the rich tradition of the French horn with an adventurous and versatile programme ranging from classical horn repertoire to film music and contemporary works. Audiences can expect the warm, powerful and surprisingly diverse sound of a full horn ensemble, featuring both lyrical melodies and spectacular brass sonorities. With an energetic and accessible approach, TOET! aims to showcase the versatility of the horn in both familiar and unexpected musical settings.

AURA RASCÓN & SHABBIR HUSSAIN

Experience an evening of Hindustani classical music, North India’s oldest and expressive musical tradition. Centered around the soulful sound of the bansuri flute, (teh ancient Indian bamboo flute) the performance explores the beauty of ragas — melodic frameworks designed to evoke different moods, emotions, and times of day through improvisation and intricate musical dialogue. Accompanied by the rhythmic artistry of the tabla, the concert weaves together melody and percussion with high contrasts going from deeply meditative moods to uplifting rhythmical intensities.

THE NEW CHOIR LIVE AT PARADIJSKERK

The choir from Rotterdam sings songs that reflect its generation and translates tracks from artists such as Billie Eilish, Froukje, Bon Iver, Sufjan Stevens, and Eefje de Visser into captivating multi-voiced choir pieces while staying true to the heart of the original.

The New Choir is under the creative direction of Guido Nederstigt.

Tōth
Brooklyn-based songwriter and trumpet player Tōth (Alex Toth) returns with his third album – And The Voice Said (February 27, 2026). Tōth is known for their emotionally direct songwriting, magnetic stage presence and trumpet playing. Their new album was co-produced by Grammy nominated artist Caroline Rose and features Kimbra. This record finds Tōth fully blossomed with his most potent work yet.

In this concert you will hear classical Ottoman pieces, some Black Sea, Greek and Catalan traditional songs, and original compositions inspired by them.
The power of the resonance of the strings and the non temperate melodies are some of the elements in common in all the styles mentioned previously.
It will be our own version and interpretation of music that has been played for centuries.

Fireworks is the new laboratory for experimentation of these four young musicians with an obsession for sound.
