Tante selects, you decide!
De thema voor deze editie is Absurditeit.

Geen algoritmes en eindeloze opties, wél een zaal vol spanning en pizza. Bij Tante Kino’s Surprise Cinema starten we de avond met 3 trailers, daarna is het aan het publiek: stemmen maar!

Wordt het de film die je nog steeds een keer wilde zien, de klassieker die je bijna was vergeten, of juist eentje die je zelf niet direct zou kiezen? Laat je stem horen, of laat je gewoon verrassen.

Kom vooraf pizza eten, of nestel je met je pizza op schoot tijdens de film. Bij Tante mag alles!

Ottoman, Greek and Catalan sounds in an own interpretation. In this concert you will hear classical Ottoman pieces, Greek and Catalan traditional songs, and original compositions inspired by them.

It is our own version and interpretation of music that has been played for centuries.

Vasilis LEMONIAS from the bay of Volos, Kiriakos MANIAS from the island of Crete, and Laia ESCARTIN from Catalonia each bring their own musical background and come together in a shared musical space, driven by their love and appreciation for these traditions.

Komt allen! Zondagmiddag verkennen we protest via verschillende kunstvormen, in het kader van de impact van het koloniale verleden. Samen met schrijver en spoken word artist Danielle Zawadi, die je met haar vonkende voordracht moeiteloos uit je stoel blaast (check dit!! https://youtu.be/bc_oHG70rJI?si=OMv5iZjEMboLt7D ). Ook gaan we in gesprek met mural artist Laxmi Manuela over het doorbreken van taboes.

Amelie Spinks is an indie-folk musician, her songwriting has strong ties to her New Zealand country-folk roots.

For this intimate concert The Amelie Spinks trio will present a fresh set of music inspired by the return of springtime and their recent album release .

Amelie will present a set of new and old songs which indulge in the human experience and pursue warm truths. In inviting fingerpicking, sweet melodies and a gentle voice, her songs hold captivating power, and will carry you through the beauty of spring.

To help her music come alive, she will be joined by Anja Gottberg on contrabass and Adrian Bifano on electric guitar. Both experienced jazz musicians and artists in their own right, Anja and Adrian carry musical intuition that suits Amelie’s music entirely. The trio found each other and instant chemistry over a shared love of country music.
