When the Earth feels stable enough for our feet to find roots, we'll notice that the wet sand calms the body and nourishes the mind.

We're trusted in supportive embraces, balancing out mutual aid as the streams of water, the drops we feel falling on our once dry skin.

It lights something inside us, a warm mission fueled by what we've seen as potential for change. It's what grace is made of: understanding that we'll all fall, and in the support, we will all rise.

Our comprehensive MoveMeant Method offers an in-depth approach, and fully understanding it requires specific training. However, this 7-day challenge is a great starting point—an excellent way to engage your body and learn foundational skills that promote greater movement freedom.

Coping or Character?

Our character is profoundly shaped by our behaviors, which in turn are influenced by the coping mechanisms we develop in response to our diverse life experiences. We often find ourselves identifying closely with our defense mechanisms, the coping strategies we adopt, and the traumas we have endured. These elements collectively shape our identity and craft a narrative about who we are. However, it is crucial to pose the question: is this narrative our true self, or is it simply a story we have constructed? What if we decided to embrace a different narrative—one that is more empowering, where we perceive ourselves not as victims of our circumstances, but as resilient individuals? How might this conscious choice transform our lives?
These thought-provoking questions and themes are central to our classes. The answers often reside in the ways we move and express ourselves physically. Our bodies instinctively respond to our surroundings, the consequences of our actions, unfamiliar situations, moments of joy, and experiences of distress. Each of these reactions can be understood and interpreted through the lens of our physical responses. Our mission is to guide you in recognizing and comprehending these responses, helping you to unlock a deeper understanding of yourself and your narrative.

During this workshop, we will delve into the first layer of our Amenti MoveMeant Method, the Layer of Physicality, concentrating specifically on the aspect of TRUST.
Trust is essential for building relationships and fostering progress. Without a trustworthy relationship with ourselves and our bodies, we may manipulate our responses to avoid challenges related to our social and physical lives, such as food, intimacy, exercise, and protecting those around us.
You cannot fake trust in the body - but trust can be built.

Nine years ago, we gave life to Amenti. She began as a seedling, a figment of our imagination, a drop of stream consciousness waiting to grow, bloom, and bear fruit. Through careful nurturing and hard work, we planted that seed in the ground, empowering it to rise, and she flourished into something beautiful. Amenti became a vessel for connection, knowledge, creativity, and love.

Throughout these nine years, we encountered obstacles and challenges that sought to keep her small. However, we also met many people who recognized her potential and chose to support Amenti, joining her movement so that we could dance together.

We are proud of what Amenti continues to become. Witnessing how an idea can evolve into a powerful manifestation is truly magical. It illustrates the power of resourcefulness, faith, togetherness, and free will. Amenti embodies belief and the unwavering love for one’s creation.

I am because you are. A person is a person through other people. We need each other more deeply than we might want to admit. We grow through each other, love each other, and can transform the world if we work together. Within this world, it sometimes seems a forgotten concept that community is something to cherish and fight for - instead of fight against.

Living and working together, traveling the world, confronting our powers and shortcomings, and sharing this intimately with our team members is sometimes challenging but always fulfilling. We share blood, sweat, and tears but also laughter, fun, and expansion.

These photos were taken on a trip we took to a big waterfall. It was a cleansing and inspiring trip.
Feeling the force of the water falling down on our shoulders and heads was a way to appreciate nature and its power. The wind that flew along our cheeks, the deep sounds it tuned in our ears, the cold water that felt refreshing on our skin. It was a blessing to witness this waterfall's beauty together. 💧🌴💚
