BIRDfest 2024: Vrijdag 01 & Zaterdag 02 november
BIRDFEST 2024, drie locaties, twee dagen, één festival!

Onder het thema ‘Celebrate the Culture’ komt het festival op vrijdag 01 en zaterdag 02 november terug op de iconische locaties Annabel, BIRD en MONO. Net als voorgaande jaren vind je er een muzikale melange van jazz, soul, hiphop, disco, house, singer-songwriters, dj's, vocalisten en multi-instrumentalisten. Toonaangevende live-bands en dj's nemen je mee op een ontdekkingsreis langs het muziekgelu

id van gisteren, vandaag en morgen. Van het rauwe, soulvolle geluid van de Ashtraynutz en de poëtische melodieën van Andreya Triana tot de dirty, gritty soul van Sven Hammond Soul, de eclectische soul van Omar tot 360 Degrees die de groovende house van Moodymann naar Rotterdam heeft gehaald, de eigentijdse filmscore van Re-Score Black Orpheus tot de opzwepende vinyl van Analog: BIRDfest programmeert het allemaal.

🚨Mulatu Astatke Announcement!
Due to ongoing recovery, Mulatu Astatke’s concert, originally scheduled for BIRDfest and later moved to February 8, 2024, has now been rescheduled to September 18, 2025.

This new date is your chance to be part of his farewell tour. A historic moment as he prepares to say goodbye to the stage.

Even though we all wanted to see him this Saturday, this tour will be a truly special farewell show, and we hope to see you there. ❤️

Mulatu Astatke’s concert at BIRDfest has a new date! After being postponed due to health issues, we’re thrilled to announce that the concert is now set for February 8th 2025 at Annabel. 🎉
