104,000 luminescent stones. One for every life taken in the Dutch Holocaust.
A breath of light, commissioned by the National Committee for 4 and 5 May.

LEVENSLICHT (Light of Life) began in Rotterdam and travelled to 170 municipalities across the Netherlands in 2020. The stones returned to the homes, schools, and streets where these lives were once lived, bringing memory back into everyday space.

Each pulse of light is a presence. A call to remember.

Every night, a bicycle path becomes a Van Gogh painting.

Van Gogh Path glows where Vincent once walked. Thousands of twinkling stones absorb sunlight by day, releasing it as stars by night, bringing Starry Night to life beneath your wheels.
