Are you ready for a summer cosplay getaway? VienCon will soon be upon us! Sadly, AnimeCon will not have a table at VienCon, but several of our volunteers will be attending as guests. But do not worry; our beach balls will be present too! They shall be released back into their natural habitat, namely, the pool.

Happy World Photography Day! 📸

We love the heart, art, and science that goes into photography, and all of it deserves to be celebrated!

This art is important to our community as well. Cosplayers get to show off their craft through the camera lens thanks to photographers. Those who bend in poses just as weird as the cosplayers themselves to capture THE shot!

Or figure photography. Don’t think we forgot about the artists laying in dirt to capture their waifus and husbandos with amazing backgrounds. Nuikatsu is being leveled up from hobby to artwork by all of you.

AnimeCon is looking for enthusiastic volunteers with a passion for writing and creating content!

Join our Socials team and help promote the oldest anime convention in the Netherlands. Think artist reveals, event spotlights, and engaging with our amazing community.

You'll:
Create 2–3 posts a week (graphics, copy, or both), work with our in-house design team and AnimeCon's Canva Pro license, and join evening Discord meetings to share your creative ideas.

We're looking for:
Comfort with Canva and Trello, some experience with Meta, TikTok or YouTube, the ability to write in English, and a bit of weekly time to spare. Please note: we ask volunteers to avoid using AI tools when creating content.

What you'll get:
A 3-day ticket with crew t-shirt, consumption coins and more, plus new connections, team-building fun, and a boost for your portfolio or resume.

Most of all, you'll help create another unforgettable AnimeCon, for an amazing community.

A massive thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth 💖. It was wonderful to see so many of you, chat with you, and share a little bit of joy throughout the weekend. We hope our conversations and goodies helped make your Abunai a little more special.

Have you watched the Cosplay Summit 2026 Finals yet? Because we certainly did!

We were incredibly proud to see our very own , consisting of .cos and .cos, deliver a beautiful performance on the world stage. Their hard work, dedication, and passion truly shone through.

Of course, every participating team brought something unique to the stage. The creativity, craftsmanship, and love for cosplay were really inspiring to witness!

A huge thank you to our 2026 representatives for representing the Netherlands so wonderfully.

Starting today, Team Netherlands, consisting of .cos [email protected] , is on its way to the in Nagoya, Japan!

Over the coming week, they'll join incredible cosplayers from all around the world for a series of unforgettable events, all leading up to the World Cosplay Summit Championship Finals!

Each day features a different event, with Holi and Nobless showcasing a variety of amazing cosplay costumes. Swipe left to see which cosplays they'll be wearing for each event. Want to follow their journey? Be sure to check out wcsteamnl for more updates.

Congratulations to all the winners of the AnimeCon 2026 AMV and XMV competitions! 🎞️🏆

A huge thank you to all the editors who participated! You gave our guests an amazing experience, and we truly appreciate all the effort and time each of you put into your work.

The playlists featuring the 2026 AMVs and XMVs are now available on the AMVNetherlands YouTube channel.

Special thanks to Kaj for organizing the event, and to Sander, Mandy, Leon, and Piak for creating the voting bumpers and opening video.

📝 More information and the deadlines for the 2027 AMV and XMV competitions will be announced in the coming months!

The @‌ecgcosplay 2026 is over, and what an amazing show it was! With so many talented cosplayers and their beautiful creations, it was a sight to behold. And our very own @‌annelunecos did an amazing job as well! What a brilliant performance!
