This morning I had the pleasure of visiting Lex van Diepen Music Productions to be present during the final stages of mixing and mastering the recording of my Concertino for Trombone and Concert Band.
The recording was made by the Orchestra of the Royal Netherlands Marechaussee, conducted by Ido Gerard Kempenaar, with trombone soloist Paul Langerman and recording engineer Lex van Diepen.
Hearing the final result today was truly inspiring. The craftsmanship, musicality and dedication of everyone involved have brought this work to life in a way that exceeded my expectations. I am deeply impressed by the performance of Paul, Ido and the orchestra, and by the outstanding work Lex has done in capturing and shaping the recording.
I cannot wait to share the finished recording with you all in the coming weeks.
