That synth bass is doing more work than you might think. 🎹

I played the bass part myself on my old-school Yamaha DX7, and it’s one of the elements that gives Shine Through the Summer its groove.

When two anthems meet, music builds a bridge. 🇬🇧🤝🏴

This composition was written for the Omrop Fryslân documentary Yn it spoar fan de Wellington R1397.

By weaving together the English and Frisian national anthems, the music reflects the remarkable story of a British Wellington bomber crew and the lasting bond between England and Friesland.
