A modern vocal jazz duet in the style of Tony Bennett & Lady Gaga, featuring an original big band arrangement and a warm, accessible sound. Suitable for jazz, lounge, and crossover playlists.

Today, D&R Jazz releases a stylish and contemporary cover of the iconic jazz standard “I’ve Got You Under My Skin.” With this release, the duo continues to develop their signature sound, where tradition meets modern influence.

Following their previous single “The Lady is a Tramp,” inspired by the interpretation of Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga, the duo takes the next step with this new release. As with their earlier work, this version is clearly influenced by that interpretation, with a similar vocal distribution and approach. At the same time, D&R Jazz adds its own identity through a new arrangement, performed with the Jazz Focus Big Band.

The track was recorded (vocals) and mixed at Atlantis Studio, contributing to the warm, clear, and contemporary sound of the recording.

According to D&R Jazz:
“We deliberately drew inspiration from the Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga version for the vocal approach, as that balance feels very natural to us. At the same time, we wanted to create something of our own musically, with an arrangement that better reflects our sound and how we work together as a duo.”

With multiple releases on Spotify and YouTube, D&R Jazz is steadily building a recognizable style. Upcoming releases will remain rooted in the jazz repertoire, while gradually moving toward original material and a broader sound, incorporating influences from Latin jazz and bossa nova.

Persbericht nieuwe single: Sandra Linssen – “Zomerdromen”

Het nieuwe nummer van Sandra Linssen ontstond op een onverwacht moment: in een lange file onderweg naar haar werk. De dag begon met stress, tijdsdruk en een overvolle agenda. Terwijl ze stil stond in de auto, zag ze in de verte een klein zeilbootje onder een strakblauwe lucht.

Dat beeld riep een sterk verlangen op naar rust, vrijheid en even loskomen van alles.Die gedachte vormde de basis van dit lied.In de jaren daarna veranderde haar leven ingrijpend toen ze borstkanker kreeg en stopte met fotograferen.Het nummer bleef bestaan, maar kreeg pas later de ruimte om echt tot leven te komen.
