We are very excited to announce our upcoming concert, next Monday, 23 February, by a group of phenomenally talented musicians. The bariton Ludwig Mittelhammer, pianist Herbert Schuch, violinist Franziska Hölscher and cellist Harriet Krijgh will perform a wonderful program with songs and other chamber music works by Franz Schubert and Robert Schumann. What an absolute pleasure it is to welcome back to our series the wonderful next Monday. They will play an amazing program with surprising works for clarinet, cello and piano. Please join us on the 8th of December for an evening full of drama. You will hear works by Richard Wagner (Vorspiel, and Isoldes Liebestod from ‘Tristan und Isolde’),
César Franck (Pièce héroïque), Gabriel Fauré (Suite Masques et Bergamasques) and Vincent d’Indy’s beautiful Trio voor clarinet, cello and piano, op. 29!

We are absolutely thrilled to welcome back to our concert series the fabulous ! Next Tuesday, November 4th, these wonderful musicians will play an intriguing program, including Samuel Barber’s String Quartet (with its famous adagio!), Erich Wolfgang Korngold’s First String Quartet, as well as Antonín Dvořák‘s Twelfth String Quartet, nicknamed “the American”. Over precies vier weken is de aftrap van ons nieuwe seizoen! Op donderdag 2 oktober spelen de meesterpianist Christian Zacharias en het vermaarde Leipziger Streichquartett werken van Brahms, Gade en Schumann. Een mooi begin van een opnieuw fantastisch seizoen, waarin onder anderen ook Alexandre Tharaud en Jean-Guihen Queyras zullen optreden. Vorig jaar opende de Duitse toppianist Christian Zacharias ons seizoen met een schitterend en diep doorleefd recital. Op donderdag 2 oktober keert Zacharias terug, ditmaal met het Leipziger Streichquartett, een van 's werelds beste strijkkwartetten. Ze spelen werken van Brahms en Gade, alsmede het fenomenale pianokwintet van Robert Schumann, natuurlijk met Zacharias aan de vleugel. 😊Wij kunnen haast niet wachten en verheugen ons er ook op om u weer te verwelkomen in onze mooie Nijmeegse concertzaal.
