KEEP EYES ON SUDAN

AZUZU, SEYIMZ & LANA, KHA’LIL & AKUNNA take the stage on Saturday, February 21 at Carolus, Nijmegen (20:00–01:00).

This night is part of Keep Eyes on Sudan: a fundraiser with live hiphop showcases and a boilerroom setup bringing sound, community, and purpose together.
The DJ boilerroom lineup will be announced soon.

Together with Nijmeegse Jantien, Nijmegen for Sudan, and Beatwise, we’re creating a space to come together, listen, and act. Sudan is facing an ongoing humanitarian crisis that receives little attention, and we refuse to let it fade into the background.

All donations go to A Sudan Hope Initiative by A Hope Initiative, supporting Sudanese refugees in Egypt who have fled ongoing military violence and face structural discrimination and lack of access to basic needs.

This is a local initiative with a direct outcome.
Everything is run voluntarily. No wages. No cuts. No middlemen.
Every contribution goes straight to the fund. Proof of donation will be shared.

KEEP EYES ON SUDAN

On Saturday, February 21, we’re organizing Keep Eyes on Sudan: a fundraiser night with hiphop showcases and a boilerroom setup at Carolus, Nijmegen (20:00–01:00).

Together with Nijmeegse Jantien, Nijmegen for Sudan, and Beatwise, we’re creating a space to come together, listen, and act. Sudan is facing an ongoing humanitarian crisis that receives little attention, and we refuse to let it fade into the background.

We’ve chosen a fund that aligns with our values and ensures that donations reach their intended destination: the fund we chose is A Sudan Hope Initiative by A Hope Initiative. Later on we will provide more information about this link. Proof of donation will be provided.

There are more than 500,000 Sudanese refugees in Egypt, most of them seeking refuge from ongoing military conflicts in their home country of Sudan. Their official status as refugees is highly disputed, and they have been subject to racial discrimination and police brutality. Since August 2024, A Hope Initiative has been actively providing support to those in need in Egypt.

There will be a link and a QR code (on site) for donations.

THE COZY EDITION PT. 2 💜
On the first Hiphop Sunday of the year, January 25th, we’re hosting a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate tournament.

After our previous Mario Kart tournament, we listened to you and decided to go more competitive with Smash, while still keeping it cozy with an UNO tournament and other board games.

Doing it at Lindenberg Aldenhof made it a unique experience, the perfect place to end the year right.
