Look what I found on holiday! 🐚

Holding a shell to my ear,
I hear the waves and sway with them.
Rising, falling,

flowing back into myself.

I feel the joy of being one.
Listening to see!
And then the feeling,

I am alive!

Shining For You!

Where the past is the future
and the present an echo,

I look up at the starry sky
and learn to cope with the transience of existence
The sorrow softens

That’s why I have created a star for the universe
One day, somewhere in infinity,
I want to place it among the stars

First, one half—the crescent—
and later the second half,
so that together they become a sun
and shine for you once more.

Birth of a concept

A new idea is born —
a spark emerging from the mind, radiant as light,
illuminating its own path.

Two figures, the feminine and the masculine
gently sway from the ears.
They become vessels of listening,
receiving the world’s quiet truths.
Their visions come together as one,
Through this interplay, they integrate.

humanity and compassion find their home.

I ❤️ invite you to visit the group exhibition Vitamine Art in Buren, where I am participating with my ceramic art theatre about women and the journey toward enlightenment.

From colorful faces with sparkling earrings to interactive forms, ceramic works and characters with their own stories. They can be opened and closed, allowing you to place something inside or take something out—whatever you need to make your life’s path a little lighter and happier.

Listen to See

I did not yet know about the difficulties of life and the need to say goodbye.
That is why I search for forms of continuity,
not an ending, but an expansion.

This work is about listening.

Listening to yourself.
Listening to another.
Listening to what the universe might be trying to tell us.

The sculpture carries several layers within it:
it is at once a shell, an ear and a va**na,
forms that open, receive and connect.

Perhaps listening is ultimately that:
the ability to truly receive.

You can experience this work during the Vitamine Art exhibition in Scherpenheuvel-Zichem:
