A koi doesn’t always swim against the current. Sometimes it simply flows with the water, gathering strength and waiting for the right moment to move forward.

Soms vertelt een tattoo een verhaal dat dieper gaat dan woorden.

Deze prachtige vrouw heeft leukemie overwonnen. Een strijd die sporen nalaat — zichtbaar en onzichtbaar. In plaats van haar littekens te verbergen, koos ze ervoor ze te eren. Deze hartjes staan symbool voor haar kracht, haar reis en vooral haar zelfliefde.

Het mooiste moment? De sprankeling in haar ogen toen ze zichzelf weer zag… compleet, trots en zacht tegelijk.

Dit is waarom ik doe wat ik doe.
Met passie, aandacht en respect voor elk verhaal dat ik mag vastleggen.

I sat down, listened to his story, and designed every single part around the moments that shaped him. Nothing random. Nothing just for show.

This piece is built from meaning, layer by layer.

Fresh black and grey name piece. Solid contrast with the lettering pushed clean out of the dark background so it hits from every angle. Added the fence for that rough, protective feel, gives the whole piece more attitude and depth. Strong placement on the leg, this one will stay readable forever.
