** NEW VIDEO: ASETEK'S SIMUCUBE KILLER? **

Asetek Racing had huge claims when they launched, and years later, following improvements and refinements that my early reviews (and others') directly contributed to, Asetek's flagship offerings are ready. More than ready. With several features like USB Passthrough, open eco-system, upgrade paths and an easy to understand hierarchy of products, (Initium, La Prima, Forte, Invicta), it's no wonder Asetek was recently acquired by a huge company.

This video catalogs months and months of use, over several years of ownership, incorporating all the latest that Asetek has to offer. I've poured my heart and soul into giving you the best information and I hope that this is genuinely useful for those in the high end sim racing market. And although $4,000 is a LOT of money for a sim setup, it arguably doesn't get much better than this, if at all.

In this video I keep posing the question whether the Invicta bundle is competitive with the SC3 Simucube offerings and while active pedals are hard to compete with, I'm convinced you wont be any quicker with them.

My sim racing community loves to sponsor real world race cars and our latest driver is pro2 driver . I review sim racing hardware for my YouTube channels and when I’m finished with it, I give it to grassroots racers because they’d never spend that kind of money on their sim setup. Every last cent goes into their race cars. So this sponsorship allows us to be an important part of their training and eventual success and enjoyment in motorsport. This setup is worth roughly €1800 and we’re delighted to be in a position to do it. Mark and I used to drift in rfactor more than 10 years ago so when I found out he’s still using a Logitech g27 yet still regularly drifts with the boys, he needed some assistance.

Sim Global Expo is happening at the NEC in Birmingham on the 16th and 17th of January 2027. After many years of planning, the time is now and this is going to be a big one backed by some of the biggest names in the industry. I hope to see you all there! UK people have been SCREAMING out for this and now is your chance to meet up with your communities and rub shoulders with companies and content creators. Chicago Expo update (September 18th - 20th)

I will not be able to attend this year's event. The long and short of it is that this trip is completely unjustifiable for me financially unfortunately. Flights would cost me €600 or so which isn't bad, but accommodation would be over €1500. And while the channel makes money, I need to consider whether this is where I should be spending the money that channel members and sponsors have given me. I thoroughly enjoyed last year's event and I want to support it whatever way I can. But getting there from Ireland is a huge commitment both financially and from a family point of view.

For similar reasons, I didn't attend Sim Racing Expo in Charlotte. So no USA expos for me for the foreseeable future. However, I will be attending Frankfurt (Sim Racing Expo) in October and Maastricht (Sim Formula Expo) in January. There is also another exciting sim expo on the horizon that I can't talk about yet.

So all in all, it sucks to have to make this post because the USA views my content more than any other country, it feels pretty crap that I can't go there to meet subscribers and other content creators, not to mention missing out on seeing the new hardware and establishing contact with new brands and resellers. Expos have been a huge part of my channel so missing one hits me right in the feels.

I have no idea how this video will perform, but it's one of those 'I don't care about views' moments where I think it will find the right audience.
