After attending every SimRacing Expo since 2020, I won’t be in Charlotte 😞

Due to budget and political uncertainty, I won’t make Charlotte this year. Frankfurt & Maastricht (SimFormula) are still planned, while Chicago (Sim Gaming Expo) in September is uncertain.

** NEW VIDEO - SIMSONN HS PRO Shifter **

H-pattern and sequential shifters only excite certain types of sim racers. They’re usual complex and expensive. But somehow, SIMSONN makes this one for €120/$120 (before shipping and taxes) and frankly I’m impressed. That puts it in direct competition with the Moza HGP and the SHH Hubb Shifter. It's official! After many happy years, they're pulling the plug on community clubs by turning off the servers on July 8th 2026. What does this mean for rally fans? Is VR completely left high and dry? So many questions! Damn you Codemasters and Electronic Arts...

Driving this car in iRacing is beyond frustrating. It doesn't communicate the way other cars do and you really need to spend time with it to learn its quirks. This video intends to cut to the chase. As usual, my slowness was not a hardware issue, it was a skill issue.

At €370 per pedal, the Co-Pedals are not cheap, but they do round out the active pedal to feel like a complete pedal system without needing to shell out for three active pedals. All things considered though, how good are they? At this price there are expectations, so in today’s video I put them through the ringer, comparing them to other pedal sets along the way.

SIM Drifters/Rallyers ASSEMBLE! Hands On Performance had created a design which allows you to use a REAL motorsports handbrake on your sim rig. That means you can set up your sim EXACTLY the way a real car would be set up. Pictured here with a recognisable handle, you can swap it for pretty much any other handle mechanism that takes a hydraulic cylinder.

They’ve put together a cupped multi elastomer system. If you recall my obsession with cupped elastomer systems ever since the cup 1 pedals, we’ve seen very successful implementations on and even now pedals. Really clever idea from who also do hand controls for simulation.
