Leidance is the association in Leiden to organise dancing events for students and everyone else interested. Join us for lessons on Monday, Wednesday or Thursday:

*Workshop Couple positions* 💃
Drama on the dancefloor!!
7th of June Leidance is hosting a workshop by the amazing Monique & Damir! Between them they have a combined 13 National Championships under their belt, so we are super happy we get to host them for such an affordable student price! 🤩 The workshop will be about body positions (inside/outside, promenades, wing, fallaway etc.) and some lines in standard, to make sure you look as dramatic as possible on the dancefloor. There's an option to have (incredibly cheap😱) private classes afterwards, but there's only 8 half-hour spots so be quick!

*🌈 Color Bingo Party 🎨*
Yesssss, finally, Leidance is organizing another amazing ballroom party! 💃This time we ask everyone to wear a color of the rainbow. Why, you ask? Well, first of all, it will be so much fun to see a dancefloor full of colors! ❤️🧡💛💚💙 But perhaps more importantly, so you can fully participate in our color bingo! During our color bingo, you try to dance with different people dressed in different colors, to collect them all on your bingocard and if you're fast, win a prize! 🏆 And in preparation for ETDS, you can join a discofox workshop beforehand, to keep up with our German competition 😉

*Leidance Workshop Improvisation & Floorcraft* 💥💃
Keep running into people on the dancefloor? Unsure how to adapt your figures to the space? Worry no more! The amazing Matthijs & Julia are giving a workshop in Improvisation on the dancefloor, to make sure you can shine on a busy dancefloor. Best to bring a dancepartner, as it's for both leads and follows, but if you're alone we can match up too 😉.

Spotlight, Music, _BROADWAY!_ the Leidance Gala is back again. With a theme suitable for drama, dress up for a night at the theater, or as your favourite character and take to the stage 💃 on *Saturday January 31st 20:00-21:00* including a workshop in Rueda! With both a room for ballroom and a room for social latin it's going to be a certified 5-star review from the critics 😉

Ready to level up your dance flow? Join us for a *Kizomba Workshop*! Boost your social latin skills with a 2-hour intensive workshop, covering all the basics you need to know. This is followed by 2 hours of social dancing, featuring Kizomba, Bachata and Salsa. No experience needed—just bring your dance shoes and good vibes!

Spooky season is early this year! 😱👻 Our introparty this year is halloween themed! Always wanted to try ballroom, salsa or bachata dancing? This is your chance! 10dance training camp!!

On Sunday the 29th of June, Leidance will be host to Monique and Damir, a Professional Division couple with a combined 13 National Championships in both Latin and Standard under their belt, for a Bootcamp. This bootcamp will not be of extremely high level but not beginner either. So some basic slowfox knowledge is a requirement for instance.
