Molly Ackerman will informally begin a new work of art, allowing the attendees to witness the creative process in action. Events similar to this have taken place in many cities of the Netherlands, the USA, Hungary, Thailand, Indonesia and Japan.
Musicians and dancers are invited to bring their instruments to join Molly with music, sounds, voice and dance to exchange ideas and jam.

De Japanse zenmeester Danjo Souken en drie andere boeddhistische monniken zijn met een delegatie van totaal elf meesters in verschillende disciplines aanwezig op de Japanmarkt van zondag 20 mei 2018 met stand 58, tegenover de ingang van de Hortus Botanicus. Ze zijn hier voor Zenmeditatie & Mindfulness, Noh-theater, Kalligrafie, Thee Ceremonie, Ikebana, Kitsu of Kimono dressing, Verhalen vertellen, Origami of papiervouwen en meer.
De deelnemers aan de Kimonoparade van het SieboldHuis naar de Burcht steen zich op om 17.00 uur. De parade verlaat het Sieboldhuis om 17.15 uur. Om 1`8.00 uur is er een gratis optreden (donaties welkom) met dans en muziek in de Burcht.
Als je zondag niet bij de Japanmarkt kunt zijn, kan je zaterdag van 10.30 - 14.00 uur naar de EAE STUDIO op de Nieuwe Rijn 94 komen om de meesters aldaar te ontmoeten tijdens de workshops die ze daar geven tijdens het Japan Arts Festival. Zie voor meer informatie: www.eaestudio.nl

The Japanese Zen master Danjo Souken and three other Buddhist monks are present with a delegation of eleven masters in various disciplines at the Japanmarket in Leiden on Sunday 20 May 2018 with stand 58, opposite the entrance to the Hortus Botanicus. They are here for Zen Meditation & Mindfulness, Noh Theater, Calligraphy, Tea Ceremony, Ikebana, Kitsu or Kimono dressing, Storytelling, Origami or paper folding and more.
The participants of the Kimonoparade from the SieboldHuis to the Burcht Castle will line up at 17.00. The parade leaves the SieboldHuis at 17.15. There is a free performance (donations welcome) with dance and music in the Burcht at 6 pm.
If you can’t attend the Japanmarket on Sunday, you can come to the EAE STUDIO on the Nieuwe Rijn 94, Leiden on Saturday from 10.30 - 14.00 to meet the masters there during the workshops they give at the Japan Arts Festival. For more information, see: www.eaestudio.nl
