Look what a spare paintbrush can become.
At this kids' workshop, we didn't paint with the brushes — we turned the brushes themselves into little characters. Colour the bristles with marker for "hair," glue on googly eyes, add a nose, finish with a few gems for a crown.
That's it. No fancy materials, nothing you don't already have lying around at home.
The best part is watching a kid go from "it's just a paintbrush" to "his name is—" in under ten minutes. That switch, from object to character, is exactly the kind of imagination I love building space for.
