Just finished up this Luke Skywalker saber from The Mandalorian! This incredible "Luke Rescuer" kit was made by Stars' End, I took on the challenge of bringing it to life with the paintwork and weathering. I spent a lot of time dialing in the details to give it that authentic, screen-accurate look; aiming for that perfect "used-but-maintained" aesthetic we see in The Mandalorian. It's now ready to take on a hallway full of Dark Troopers! 😎

Most people recognize the shiny ROTJ Hero hilt, but the resin stunt version used for the R2-D2 launch has its own unique character.
There’s something about that weathered, gritty look that just hits differently. It's a direct copy of the V3 production version with the inverted Graflex clamp and ESB style clamp card PCB. I gave this replica a heavily weathered finish, which is how the prop looks today. Design, casting, painting & weathering done by me.
