I've shown a pearl wig I did as a commission before,
But I've never shared my own pearl cosplay!

this was mostly because I was waiting for the results of a photoshoot that the first photo is part of but they never came and I don't want to bother the photographer (again).

This wa the very first cosplay I've ever made myself from scratch! It was an ambitious first project as the top is a corset that contains actual boning and lacing in the back.

I also have the correct color shoes but I'd forgotten those at home at the day of the photoshoot!
A tricky bit of this costume is hat it involves white bodypaint that sometimes is really tricky to make stick properly.

Elfquest - Cutter (Original Quest)

This costume was a Blast from the Past!! I've grown up reading Elfquest in a time before the internet existed. Me and my best friend would rent them at the library and then read them together at her house, of course always missing volumes and trying to follow the story still.

This costume proved to be a real challenge! I'm not uniformly happy with the end result but it contained MANY new techniques such as working with craft foam, leather working and even.... doll customizing!

Warp Zone piece - Heroine series- Watercolours - 20euro's a piece 50 for the set.

When I was a teenager these three were my main game heroines. It was really important to me to have these girls as examples. They sometimes get overshadowed by the grand worlds they're from so I wanted to literally put them i. The center.

Yuna was there in the first console game I ever played. I clearly remember thinking it was one of the most beautiful things I'd ever seen. But Yuna got more important because she's dorky and sweet and manages to remain kind.

Jade was the protagonist of the best game I ever played. This game really does their female hero right. She is so much more than a romantic interest. (She isn't a romantic interest at all!) she's family oriented, not afraid to express love to those close to her and is so self reliant!

And finally Kya. Kya is a character who is just so cool. It was a game that I played with my sisters and Kua was tough and badass in a way I'll never be.

These two are the first two Warpzone pieces I want to share! They're a series of pastel drawings of games I played during my childhood! They're meant to convey a sense of nostalgia and innocence.

The series is called 'Bygone days'. They'll be available for 20 euros each or 30 if you buy them as a set. (Price Includes frame 27x27cm)

The first is a fairly unknown game called 'Conkers pocket tales'. A really cute game not to be confused with the later 'bad fur day'. Pocket tales is family friendly and simple… but not easy! It's still hard to finish the final levels! It reminds me of holidays with my family in the french countryside.

The second is the beloved Yoshi's island. Have you ever strapped the lid of the laundry basket to your back as a saddle and then put your little sister on that and jumped around pretending to be a Yoshi? Because I sure have…

The next project I want to share on here is this Pearl wig made for Olena Gorbonos!!

I have previously made a Pearl wig for myself as well and this one is a real improvement in terms of cleanliness. It shows that experience helps you learn from mistakes!

I make a Pearl wig from a base wig where I cut and style bangs, then I remove all wefts at the back of the head to insert a foam cone, I re-attach all wefts to the cone, attach the cone to the wig, and then style the hair over the cone.

I did run into a slight obstacle and that is that the wig ordered from Coscraft was really thin! I had to order extra wefts in order to create the desired effect. All in all the wig served its purpose but consider this when purchasing from them! The wigs are thin! If you’re going to build a big wig you’re better off shopping elsewhere.

The first costume I want to share with everyone here is my Toriel costume, It was made for Abunaicon, a Dutch anime convention in 2016, it recieved some important revisions however in April 2017 for the Elfia fair.

Toriel is a warm and motherly character, a type of character I really enjoy to play, because it's close to my own personality!

I like using high grade materials when working on my costumes, so the white underskirt is made of linnen and the overdress of felted wool. It makes the costume warm to wear which is nice in winter! The sygil on her chest is hand embroidered. For the gloves and ears I used high quality faux fur.

I want to do a third iteration in which I make a face mask and ears out of latex so stay tuned for that!

These three photos show pictures of Love Live! pannel paintings i did. They're 8x16 cm and ideal to give away as a present. In fact, these two I already gave away as a present! They're made with wood, paint and washi tape, a little hanger to put them up with is optional!

Here I will post all my traditional art, traditional art is really hard to capture on camera so often it's really different to see them in real life! They often look better in real life so don't worry it won't look worse! Do keep it in mind when buying/comissioning art!
