Founded in April 1968 by Willem van Kooten (for the radio freaks: Radio Veronica DJ Mister Joost Den Draaijer). Since, NANADA has gathered a great amount of musical treasures in its portfolio, among which a large number of gigantic international hits dating back to the last century – like
SHOCKING BLUE’s “VENUS”, FOCUS “HOCUS POCUS”, TEACH IN’s “DING A DONG”, EARTH & FIRE’s “WEEKEND”
and the STARS ON 45 project. We also represent a number of very popular compositions in Dutch, such as ANDRÉ HAZES’ “EEN BEETJE VERLIEFD”,
ANDRÉ VAN DUIN’s “SAMBABALLENSAMBA”,
RAMSES SHAFFY’s “JOSJE” and HET GOEDE DOEL’s “BELGIË”. Most people do not realize that songs are not just successful because of the great artists recording them, but mainly because of those talented men and women writing the music and lyrics to those hits. are proud to work with.

On 27th September last NIRVANA received the Video Vanguard lifetime achievement award at the MTV Video Music Awards. The band was known for their originality and - as Chuck D, who presented the band with the award - stated in his speech “The most enduring artists are the ones who dare to be completely unapologetically themselves, and I don’t think there’s ever been a band completely like Nirvana,” he continued. “They owned the moment.”
