BLAST FROM THE PAST - PART 1. 💥

Right, I'm back on track with many things that demanded my attention over the past years and simply felt like updating and reactivating the activity on my DJ page again, as I feel things are about to shift and future DJ gigs will probably start to flow in again bit by bit during the rest of 2026. 😊

And first of all that is with a 'blast from the past', when I cruised allover the planet during my years as a psytrance DJ. These pictures have been taken on or in all kinds of psytrance clubs, parties or festivals in countries Brazil, Germany, Spain, Belgium, The Netherlands, Slovakia, Slovenia, the U.S. and Mexico. 🥳

It's always a blast to browse through these awesome memories and havng met so many incredible people, be it organizers, other DJ's, artists, deco-teams, dancers and hosts and I will forever be grateful for all the truly unforgettable and magic moments I shared with all of them. 🙏

I will never forget these amazing times in my life, which made me travel to so many amazing countries, cultures and places, be it in cities or the middle of nature.

These experiences have formed me for a humongous part in regards to who I am and what ticks my clock nowadays, even though that's quite different and simultaneously very similar to what I do nowadays. 🤩

The past belongs to the past, but it will always be an incredible important and grateful part of my present and future...

For those who are in for a proper sonic journey, here's my last Ecstatic Dance DJ-set uploaded on Soundcloud and yes, I know, it took me ages to do so...😜

The set was played last summer at the Dao Dance Festival in Germany, which is an awesome open air festival combining Ecstatic Dance, martial arts (kung fu, tai chi, bagua & more), live-music, contact improvisation, a healing area, food stands and much more.

Here's a few good memories of Dao Dance Festival in Germany last summer. 🤩👌

It was small, intimate and a very 1st tryout to see how people would respond to Ecstatic Dance on a psytrance festival, mixed with martial arts, contact improvisation and other forms of dance, movement and somatic exploration. 💃🕺

Personally I've been playing stages like Boom and Ozora Festival as well as all kinds of small intimate gatherings and nowadays prefer the latter in most cases, as it's less transient and interhuman connections in general go deeper. ☺️

Despite the incredible bad weather on most of the days, the main floor closed during several days during heavy torrential rain and unfortunately made a lot of people stay @ home instead of coming to the festival. ⛈️⛈️⛈️

The promoter is NOT giving up though and together with his awesome team, he will keep putting effort in creating a new form of conscious festival and have asked me again to participate as a DJ, which I consider as a real honor. 🙏
