Joy can come even when it’s wrapped in the color “sad”.

Five years of my life were spent inside this little piece of personal space. It was here that I could think, create, get a little mad & frustrated and cry tears of joy and tears of sadness. I could try to mourn the loss of my mother and sister by burying myself in work. The last photo was of MOM shining in the sun ALWAYS, even in my office.

Geldrop has a special place in my heart but doors open and doors close. Today I closed this one.

There’s a new future on the horizon for Stichting The Works in 2025!! New city ~ New chapter.

Stark Ravin’ Mad 2024

De Ravin’s komen eraan op 5 en 6 oktober 2024! Negen unieke danstalenten werken de komende maanden in een persoonlijke ontdekkingsreis toe naar de indrukwekkende (en gratis) show Stark Ravin’ Mad. Tweemaal voeren ze hun authentieke solo’s van hoog niveau op in onze Theaterzaal.

Over het project
Het project Stark Ravin’ Mad leert jong talent om vanuit zichzelf en op eigen kracht een volwaardige solovoorstelling te ontwikkelen. Het verhaal, de choreografie, de aankleding, de muziek, het licht en geluid: over alles moet worden nagedacht. Een uniek project waarbij vooraf niet bekend is wat het eindresultaat zal zijn.

Afgelopen juni vond de kick-off plaats van het jaarlijkse ‘Urban Dance Theater’ spektakel. Voor de 4e editie van dit unieke talentontwikkeling traject hebben we negen talentvolle dansers samengebracht. Meer info via de social mediakanalen van SRM.
