Koninklijke Orgelklas - Royal Organ Class Welcome to the page of the organ class of the Royal Conservatory in The Hague. Here we will post information about concerts, exams and recordings.

The Royal Organ Class consists of students studying Organ at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague. The professor is Jos van der Kooy, cantor-organist at the Westerkerk in Amsterdam and city-organist in Haarlem. The students follow their theoretical education in The Hague, but usually follow their organ classes on the organs of the Westerkerk in Amsterdam. The famous Müller organ of the St. Bavo Ch

urch in Haarlem serves as class location as well, and most final exams take place in Haarlem. The Cavaillé-Coll organ of the Philharmonie in Haarlem and the Bätz organ of the Gothische Zaal of the Raad van State are also available for lessons. Recommended websites:
